China's market is growing steadily
Production capacity accounts for one-third of the world

SEMI's latest quarterly "World Fab Forecast Report" shows that Chinese chip manufacturers are expected to maintain double-digit capacity growth. In 2024, China's capacity is expected to increase by 15% to 8.85 million wafers per month (calculated in 8-inch equivalent). In 2025, China's capacity is expected to increase further by 14% to 10.1 million wafers per month, accounting for almost one-third of the total capacity of the global semiconductor industry.
